Mackenzie Richard brings both heart and professionalism to her work with families. She first joined Bell Family Company as a trusted sitter and now serves as our Recruitment & Family Placement Lead, where she oversees caregiver vetting, onboarding, and family placement support.

Originally from Lewiston, Maine, Mackenzie graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance, training that sharpened her communication skills, discipline, and attention to detail. Following graduation, she worked as an Educational Technician in a special education setting, gaining invaluable experience supporting children with diverse learning and developmental needs. This role strengthened her ability to navigate complex situations with patience, discretion, and care.

In her leadership role at BFC, Mackenzie plays an integral part in maintaining our high standards. She manages recruitment strategy, conducts candidate screenings and interviews, oversees onboarding, and helps ensure that every caregiver presented to families meets our expectations for professionalism, reliability, and warmth.

Mackenzie continues to work as both an actor and childcare provider, bringing creativity, adaptability, and poise to everything she does. Families appreciate her thoughtful communication style and commitment to excellence.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to jazz, reading, traveling, and finding joy in life’s smallest moments, especially those shared with children.
